On this background, a photo of colorful cars arranged in herringbone pattern got viral amongst Facebook users as Japanese are quite discipline in car parking. In fact, the photo is of a BMW car showroom in UK.
A Facebook page named “Civil Engineering Ideas” wrote on October 12, “Car Parking Discipline in Japan”. The post received 2.9 K shares and hundreds of comments.

Fact Check
Car parking pattern in the photo is unique that you will not see it in most urban car parks. Fact Crescendo Myanmar noticed comments under its post that one user claims he is from Japan, and not noticing of such parking and another user said head-to-head car parking is not a practice in Japan. There is an unwritten rule in Japan that drivers always reverse into parking spaces and then drive forward when leaving the space.
Most Facebook users who are engaged in the post seem not notice where the photo is originated. FC Myanmar performed Google images search to know more about this car parking style, and found that it is a BMW car showroom in Thorne in UK.
The photo is originally taken by Dirk Dallas and posted by Abstract Aerial Art on Instagram. The car showroom parking lots also got viral in other means online in the last two years such as brain teaser for searching parking.

Conclusion
The claim about car parking style in Japan is found to be false. Japanese rarely use forward car parking as it claim in the photo. The photo depicted to be from Japan is found to be an aerial scene taken at a BMW car showroom in UK.
